I actually watch a lot of it just for the lolz. I often wonder whether Hannity gets eaten up inside by the relentless cycnical sneering he practices for hours and hours daily. It must be really hard to maintain such levels of consistent wankiness.
But you asked ... who cares? Pollsters, lobbyists, politicians, donors, advertisers, etc ad infinitum. That's who cares.

I don't think they care about accurate reporting....which was the original question that I replied to.

It wasn't just about accurate reporting it was also about the unlimited amount of free press that Trump is getting from the three major cable news outlets. You said "who cares and hardly anybody watches them anyway" in so many words. Between FOX, CNN, and MSNBC, they've handed this nomination to Trump with their sychophantry. And it's not just the "crusties" that watch FOX News, there's plenty of conservative white people, of all ages, who get their news from FOX.

You may be correct otherwise, in that they don't care about accurate reporting.

Matt's point re: Fox et. al. preaching to the choir is probably accurate. It's not likely that right-wing media changes a lot of minds about conservatism in general.

He's wrong about the size of the audience and he may be wrong about Fox's influence vis-a-vis its ability to influence views on specific issues. For example, I doubt that climate change would have become a political football in the US had the right-wing media not turned it into one.

As for Trump, a fair amount of conservative media has opposed him, yet that opposition hasn't made much if any difference. People have an amazing capacity for picking and choosing what they want or don't want to hear.

I think a lot of people tuned in for the debates but doubt that they watch much more on those channels.

Love it when people smugly slag Fox off but say nothing of CNN or MSNBC, both of whom can be just as overtly biased for the other side. I mean, people like Rachel Maddow. She's literally a one stop propaganda machine for Hilary Clinton

It's time Sanders threw in the towel and joined Hillary to create a defeat Trump strategy. Surely Sanders must realize that as a President and with his ideas and agendas he'll hit nothing but brick walls when it's time to work with Congress

U.S. Senators on Track to Spend Least Amount of Time in Senate in 60Â Years

Just think of the damage they could have caused if they had turned up. Could easily have doubled the number of votes against the aca.

I've never watched her show. I just said that her and Brian Williams do good coverage of the primaries. I've rarely watched MSNBC at all. Occasionally Chris Matthews but I've not seen anybody else.

My favourite voice on TV is Tavis Smiley. His nightly PBS show is fantastic and he mixes the arts, politics, current affairs and more.

It was funny to see Fiorina disappear through a trapdoor in the stage and Cruz didn't even notice. The only reason he hired her was because of her experience at firing large numbers of people, so she'll be put to good use pretty soon now that the Cruz campaign is pretty much over.
