Personally, I'm at a loss, as my guy is out of the running and I don't feel the Bern for either Trump or Cruz. Like Leslie, I guess I have to figure Cruz is the lesser of the two evils. Although the polls show he and Hillary are in a tight race, I think his appeal is too narrow and she wins in the end. Strategically, I like Trump's chances in the general, but his nomination will likely lead to the dissolution of the Republican Party. Most on this thread would be thrilled at the prospect, but it won't be good for the country. We really need 007 to make it look like an accident.:( 1) He has a much better chance of beating Trump in the general. 2) He's toying with the idea of challenging Hillary at the Democratic convention --- much like what's going with the GOP. |
Re: 2016 Election
I like Bernie..but I am getting tired of all Bernie links that show up on Facebook. I find most to be exagerations...but this one took the cake.
"Is it time for Clinton to drop out of the race and support Bernie." Sure...the front runner by a mile, fresh off a 5 State win, should drop out. Right. |

I might be in the majority in the Country thinking a pox on both their houses?

Doomsday Savior? How Paul Ryan Will Pick the Next President
Here's an interesting theory. Trump wins his nomination, Hillary wins hers. Then the GOP runs a third candidate. No one candidate gets 270 electoral college votes and Congress gets to pick the president. |
Re: 2016 Election
Maybe a demise of the republican party would be a good thing.
It could allow other parties to form and maybe move away from this 2 party system. |

Re: 2016 Election
If it comes down to Clinton vs Trump, I expect a write-in candidate to get a lot of traction. Looking forward to President Mickey Mouse.
