Re: 2016 Election
I think the fraud thing makes good headlines but in reality you're talking about people squeezed into a room shouting over eachother while someone tries to count who is standing where. Not exactly scientific.
As they say Iowa picks corn, New Hampshire picks presidents.

Hillary Clinton won the 2008 New Hampshire primary.
In this particular instance, I suspect that New Hampshire will be more meaningful for the GOP -- their field will be narrowed -- than for the Democrats.

News is reporting that Sarah Palin beat a hasty retreat after the final poll result came in.

Yes, I think the saying is more of a dig at the meaningless of Iowa in the grand scheme of things than NH's importance. More of a "now we have gotten that side show out of the way let's get on with the proper voting".

Also an evangelical firebrand won the GOP caucus in IA. Just like in 2008 and 2012. It didn't really help Prick or Iron Mike, so I don't see it helping Cruz much either.

The kiss of death for Trump was Palin's endorsement. McCain lost to Obama because he nominated the Bimbo as his running mate

Yes, but that only tells half the story. If you look at what they call the SDEs (basically a representation of the voter share) it's 701 to Clinton and 697 to Sanders. Which is rather closer than 3%.

You can spin the narrative any way you want, but it's not a convincing win for Clinton.

You know what. If Rubio does win the GOP nod, then he could win the whole thing because Clinton is such a fcking awful candidate. She really is her own worst enemy.

Re: 2016 Election
That could be the best prediction yet, especially if Rubio cuts into the Hispanic vote. If he does get the nod expect him to spend lots of quality time on Univision. Her Hispanic accent is even worse than her southern and black accents.

Re: 2016 Election
Rubio certainly seems to be last night's "winner" on the Republican side. As for the Democrats, they should be alarmed in the division of support for Clinton and Sanders, with the former overwhelmingly getting support from older voters (69% of over 65s) and the latter from younger (84%! from under 30's).

Re: 2016 Election
While you can have a southern accent (presumably in this case from the southern US) you cannot have an accent with a colour, since there are Black people from all areas of the country with the appropriate regional accents. Equally, you cannot have a "Hispanic" accent since that term encompasses people from a large number of different countries and/or from many areas of this country, al of which have different accents.
As you were.

Re: 2016 Election
Rubio is not popular among Latinos. His nomination wouldn't do anything to move that needle.
However, if Rubio can deliver Florida's electoral votes to the GOP, that would make things that much harder for the Democrats.
