0.9% to Clinton with 95% of precincts reporting. Looks like Clinton is going to sneak it, which would be consistent with the entrance polls.

The whole thread makes me wish I understood the whole process. It's a barking mad system.

I thought it was because I was an American in America that I didn't understand the primaries and Ohio etc. Now it appears Americans don't either.

Only Huckabee has chucked the towel in on the Republican side.

I wonder which of the frontrunners benefits from their stubbornness most. Trump maybe? If they start folding it will be interesting to see what effect that has on Cruz/Trump/Rubio.

Good to see Trump get beaten. I saw a tweet earlier that the betting line on Trump winning the nomination has plummeted while Rubio has surged. Sure could do without Cruz getting some glory but Iowa has not been a great predictor for the Reps. Glad Huckabee is gone it needed someone to go first, hopefully a few more to follow soon.

This whole thing is mental. The fact they are deciding results by the flip of a coin seems pretty screwed up to me!

Do not think he was standing against them.

Yet.

What point?

It is quite simple first he has to beat Hilary, everything else is irrelevant.

So the point of comparison is with Hilary and he tore her a new one

He tore all "establishment" candidates a "new one" if you had listened to him. That includes Cruz and Rubio and their shrill rhetoric. His message was hardly just directed at and relevant to Clinton.

Not sure who this Hilary person is.
