The Eagles rock! Hotel California on Hell Freezes Over has to be one of greatest recorded live tracks ever.

They should form a party. Imagine the massive freedom boner voting for an organization called 'The Eagles' would produce ...

Agreed. Though I still think Queen and Pink Floyd have the edge when it comes to live shows.

All time live show highlight -- Randy Meisner nailing the sustained high note at the end of "Take it to the Limit" at the Garden. The place erupted.

It's always good when singers don't lose their upper range. Even Freddie Mercury had to drop a few notes lower on the Magic Tour (which was still probably one of the best tours ever in history, though I never got to see it in person as I was only 7 at the time).

My personal highlight was seeing Telegraph Road played at a Mark Knopfler concert in 2005. That just edged out Dylan looking at me during Tangled Up In Blue a few years earlier

Lucky.

I only saw Queen in 2005, with Paul Rodgers. It wasn't the same thing at all but I still got to see Brian May in person, and hear the Red Special in all her glory, so it was a minor victory. That was a couple of weeks before the Knopfler show, at the same venue, so I saw my two favourite guitarists in the same month :D.

The closest to Floyd I ever got was The Australian Pink Floyd, who are brilliant, but still only an imitation. It's a shame they never came to Belfast during the Division Bell tour; I was 15 then and could have gone.

The standard Dylan smirk. He was singing, so was I, I was right up front and he looked at me for a second, then went on with the song. It's my favourite of his, so it always kind of stuck out for me.

Freddy was good when I saw him (mid 80s) but he wasn't revered as a god back then. I think it was after Live Aid and his death that he became the legend he is now. Nevertheless , I've always been a devout worshiper.

Even some tribute acts can be amazing (after enough beers). Saw a Fleetwood Mac tribute a few years ago, and it was pretty much the real deal!
