Yes, but for some of the candidates they would be better served if people didn't hear them talk.

True!

I was thinking a March Madness bracket style tournament might be the best way to do it.

But... think of the lost comedy value. :(

I agree. It's a pity we're talking about the fate of a "Great Power" and those little countries who foolishly threw in their hopes for survival with us.

Imagine being the leader of Latvia, for example, and having to depend on this country and this President (and the candidate-hopefuls) for your nation's survival. It's no wonder Israel appears to be in talks with Saudi Arabia for rapprochement and a possible secret alliance.

This would be a lot more fun if we were Paraguay.

Looks like most of the GOP candidates don't mind paling around with pedophiles?

One day, politicians are going to run out of friends who are conservative reality tv stars.

The worst part here is that the family did the classic religious obsessives thing of hiding the crime from police and getting the perpetrator to pray about it. I guess there won't be any more tv series from them any more now that this has come out.

From what I read, the police were involved but as Jimbob is the father of both the victim and the perpetrator he didn't press charges.

Apparently the mom from Honey BooBoo is now suing TLC. Her show was shut down for pedophile associations yet the Duggars weren't.

Annnd scene, it's off the air: http://www.rawstory.com/2015/05/tlc-...t-josh-duggar/

It says that the police weren't informed until a few years later. I read somewhere earlier today that the statute of limitations had passed by then, which sounds a bit iffy but I don't know if it is different for crimes by a minor.

Public pressure could change things though, fewer people knew about these events before now.

One of the comments in the rawstory link suggesting it all happened about the time Jimbob tried to get elected as a state legislator.

She's said she wouldn't do it, but I'd like to see Elizabeth Warren jump in.

Whenever I hear her talk she sounds pretty credible (as credible as a politician can sound ).
