The ring may need to expand further: George Pataki, former Governor of New York, has been making sounds about sounding out the possibility of a run for President. One is reminded of lemmings.

It must be a conspiracy by those political sign manufacturers.

They are meant for you to discard your convictions and vote for the person on the sign. And now you know.

Just all so weird. A sign with some guys face on it. Why?

Maybe I can get one with Clarkson on it or something

They have faces on them round your way? They just have names on them by us. Occasionally a star, or an elephant (I live in a ****ing red county), but no faces. The only face signs I see are realtors.

I don't know. Worse are the bumper stickers which can be really embarrassing the day after the election. Still, I saw someone with a Romney "Believe in America" sticker the other day.

I don't see the point of advertising how one votes.

Just last week I saw a faded "McCain - Palin 2008" sticker on an elderly Buick. Hard core, I suppose.

I saw a "Fred 2008" bumper sticker the other day. Presumably Fred Thompson.

Car in my street with a faded Bush/Cheney sticker. I guess he hasn't been too bothered about the latest elections since then.
