I'm actually surprised by myself at the moment. I've always been a bit squeamish about her up until now. Between the Democrats debate and her showing today ... I'm all in for Hillary. She has my support. I love the idea of Bernie but ...

I'm watching a re-reun of the hearings right now. The more she rebuffs him, the greasier his forehead is becoming.

He really is desperately grasping at straws.

I was able to watch, in real time, the last 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I found it to be completely riveting as well as pointless. I don't see how I can possibly watch the whole thing but I'm going to try to at least take a look at a bit more. Apparently, the Republicans wanted to solidify the Democratic base and that's what they've done.

Re: 2016 Election

The contrast between Clinton's calm demeanour and that of some of the Republican blowhards was quite startling. It would be nice to think that this will turn out to be the high water mark of Republican stupidity, but that is probably wishful thinking.

Oh, and anyone who thinks that Clinton saying "Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet." means that she was blaming the attack on a video needs to take a "logic 101" class. And finally, I guess I'm one of the relatively few who know who Sidney Blumenthal is...

The hearings have been very informative. For example, I had no idea that trading emails with Sidney Blumenthal was some sort of crime.

Right-wing populists think that hyperbole is some sort of virtue, so that sort of thing only helps the politicians who indulge in it.

So, on the Republican side, we had Trey "greasy spot" Gowdy, weird comb-over/Freedom Caucus guy, and Clarice/Martha from Silence of the Lambs/Alabama.

vs.

Hillary, Brain the size of a planet, Clinton.

Hmmmm ... who to vote for?

That thing where he explained he was running late and rushed in to vote but didn't know what he was voting for... so voted 'yes'.
Also, during the debate where he was almost pleading: 'I think you're being a bit hard on me there, Anderson...'. Get out of the kitchen!
If he had been in front of the committee yesterday instead of Hillary his soul would have expired before 11am.

Linc's been wandering in the political wilderness for a while now. Maybe it's finally occurred to him that he's been making a fool of himself - not unlike about 11 or so of the Republican hopefuls.
