Just off for my morning walk with the mutt, I'll be sure to keep an eye on the sky for one of them there drones.

Anyone know what they sound like ?

If they sound anything like those doodle-bugs, I should hear them a long way off and try making the best of my final moments.

Drones sound like a bullet. No point in listening for them.

I would be hard pushed to hear a drone where I live, the sky is usually full of those bright yellow planes dropping water on fires and Guardia Civil helicopters chasing burglars in fast cars.

Nothing like that here,..though there is some strange and powerful white light which is said to emit lethal rays, which has mysteriously reappeared in the skies over N.E.England, not having previously been sighted for many a long day.

Otherwise nothing to report, having safely returned to base accompanied by my ever faithful and trusty sniffer dog which carefully scouted the ground ahead for boobies, whilst I kept one very wary eye on the sky above.

William Hague apparently twittered earlier today that he was about to speak to Kofi Anan and call in the Syrian ambassador tomorrow.

On Twitter! They won't need to spy on him, will they?

It's as well to make light of being spied on, because there is nothing we can do about it. Sure, we can get rid of the obvious stuff from our computers and be careful how we conduct our electronic lives, but the technology is now so advanced that even a super cautious country like Israel can be compromised, Here's the proof:

Well you almost talked yourself round in a circle anyway, but what's the point in getting rid of 'the obvious stuff' (whatever that is.... political porn??!) when they'll have tagged it as existing in the first place?

I watched an interesting program on all this spying lark only a few months ago, apparently all new vehciles are now fitted with some kind of black box, and they actually used it to convict a guy of murder in the states when he lied about an acident and the black box told them the truth, also all laser printers now, by law have to print some special marks on the paper they print which is somehow not detectable with the naked eye, this gives serial numbers of machine purchaser and location, any thing it prints can be traced right back to it, cameras as shown above are the same, although I doubt you can actually turn it off as easily as they said. Smart phones really are the best gadget you can have to assist them.

There was loads more very interesting stuff including Sat navs but I can't remember all of them, for whatever reason, it is going on, and it's in many inocent items that we buy.

The most 'obvious stuff' are the programmes that steal your and your friend's money. Or use your computer to steal someone else's money. Or use your computer, along with a few million others, to shut down entire countries.
