Only once you become tax resident. This is not necessarily immediate and you can choose for it to be sooner than the upper limit if you know you're staying.

Since the OP seems to already be in Spain and this does not appear to be a secondment requiring moving to the UK then back to Spain, I'd say that he'd remain Spanish tax resident.
