anyway, they can delete it if not - it's not like they'll ban you/shoot you/send you into orbit, is it?
sorry jdr & mitzy if this causes you more work - but it is ok to put the link on now anyway, isn't it?

Wow didn't know there was so much interest.
I have no links with this site, and only hope it is of some use?
www.BestPriceProperties.com
They now are advertising UK property.
Don't think they do boats, but somewhere I'm sure I've seen a swopshop type site.
Good luck.

The fact that we have a mortgage on our property here and no credit history and no electoral role registration in the UK means we cant get a mortgage over there as yet and we have considered all the options so unfortunately the answer is no, if the circumstances were different it would be a great idea but you can buy our house if you want 130.000 euros and its yours.

We are going back to the UK just before Xmas due to the work thing we have regular work but we dont earn enough to keep our heads above water.
So we have started packing and it also looks like we will be walking away from the house we so lovingly reformed and will be handing the keys into the bank, It is heartbreaking as our life savings were invested in it and we cant sell it, we have to go back and rent for the time being until we can hopefulkly get back on our feet and hopefully buy again while the UK housing market is low, anyway get the violins out

Solely for financial reasons. My husband is a builder and I am in the property buisness...the 2 worst professions you can be in at the moment in Spain due to the downturn. We have both been working full time for the last 6 years..but it kind of grinded to a halt this year..as it has done for a lot of people.
So...the building industry is also at a standstill in the UK..so my husband has been working in Holland for a few months, and I am now working in England.
Yes of course we dont really like living apart...miss him loads...but hey ho needs must.
Some may say we have the perfect marriage...4 weeks off and 1 week on!!
I was wondering...would it not be better for you to try and rent your property out rather than hand the keys back? I think it is easier right now to get a long term rental rather than it is to sell it.
I am living in North Yorkshire now...woke up to a winter wonderland..all covered in snow. Its a bit of a novelty to me though isnt it!!
Regards
Susan
