If you are coming over for a while just rent a house for a couple of weeks or months. It's cheaper and then you get the feel for a place. We found caravan sites to far out of it and wanted to get the feel of the place from living there.

Commuting in from a caravan is soooooooooo touristy!

And you will miss out on the honking horns signifying:
bread lady coming, the fish man, the veg lady, the knife sharpener, Mr Frosty, the water melon man, the clothing man...etc.

Being living here for just over a year now.

A reality check really Matt - it was our dream but really i think thats all it is a dream - not prepared to stuggle again - weve been there, done that and had a few t-shirts made in the past :unsure:
So at the moment we are keeping our options open - i think a trip around will help us find out where we are going to settle coz neither of us want to stay here - we just cant wait to start now :thumbsup: so excited - we recon it will probably be another 18 months to 2 years yet.
How long you off going now?????? xxx

So can you not buy a caravan sooner and come to the meet then? :)

Plan is to be out there before Lara's birthday, which is the first week in September.

Nah unfortunately - we would be there now if we could but its not possible at the minute - got a lot of stuff to do and sort out here first but we have now made a start so wont be long :thumbsup:
