Hi, Just a small update, we've now looked at (remotely with the family) four possibles. And all bar one have not got the turnover and nett profit we need. Th one that does has a decreasing turnover, due to the lack of experience of the current owner. Not sure if we could bring it back up so it looks like we may be staying in the uk for the time being. We will still be doing a 'go see' in September but will just be visiting different parts of our chosen area this time to get a better feel.
We have found a couple of business's here that, while a lot more expensive for the same thing than Spain, will offer us a better long term plan, not only that but we may have enough cash in a couple of years to buy our holiday/retirement home.
Will report back soon, and thanks to everyone who gave us advise.
