Eight years is far too long. If the despicable man had accidentally choked one of his willing victims he would have got a smaller sentence for manslaughter.

Mind you, choking them appears highly improbable.

The system has sentenced Saville from beyond the grave.

I wonder if his little show he put on for the cameras, when he stood behind the reporter, and his unwillingness to apologise, landed him with an extra bit on top.

Or would it have been a bit less, if he had shown some remorse?

Another case of how the mighty have fallen, I can't see Simon Cowell sending him a Christmas card this year.

he went down saying "I didn't do it Guv" which is what he has done since the beginning, how can he apologise or show remorse.

regrettable side to British "Justice" is you get less for apologising and making remorseful statements - even if you don't mean it.

What a tragic 'anniversary' today is for them.

Is there still any hope for little 'Maddie?'
I agree - a very sad anniversary.

There are still those who say that Maddies parents neglected their children by not having a baby sitter.

Don't people realise that as doctors they are highly respectable professional people, and therefore should not be subjected to such criticism.

Elena Baltacha has died of liver cancer.

She was 30 and she was married recently.

It brings home the evils of cancer when it attacks young people who are physically fit and lead healthy lives.

sad sad sad.

RIP.

Barclays are axing 20000 jobs in the next couple of years in the UK.

Supposedly closing branches and having everything through internet accounts.
