El Corte Ingles and Carrefour sell tyres apparently with a voucher for some local fitter to fit them free. Dont know if voucher includes balancing etc and havent bought from either source but someone else may be more experienced in this.

Our local Carrefour has a big auto garage, does exhausts, tyres and other minor stuff, will do services as well.

Andorra-Been there and done exactly that and it is cheaper, saved nearly 190,00 euro on a set of Range Rover tyres

Gib is supposedly tax free but dont rush there to get tyres. Worked out more expensive than getting them in Spain but was stuck with a damaged tyre so little choice.

My hubby was quoted 595 euros for a set of 4 tyres, but if he went on Saturday they were 375 euros !! probably straight into the mechanics pocket, but who cares. Riding round with nice new tyres !!!

The larger branches of Carrefour also have tyre fitting and service centres.

Just out of Curiosity more than anything can you buy used tyres in Spain, I often rag my tyres to death the way I drive and always usually low pro expensive from the kind of cars I drive, I manage to survive on part worn tyres here at a fraction of the cost and I know most of the part worns in the UK are imported.

What is the system / regulations over there ? id be skint If I had to buy new ones every so often, although I would probably have a more stable car there !
