Topless Sunbathing Ban
#46
I remember going to Sitges on holiday way back in the early 60's as a kid, men where not allowed on the streets topless back then although the beach was OK, women topless where a no go and had to cover even their bikini tops while on the streets. I remember even some Spanish hitting tourist women who didn't cover enough of their bikinis up while leaving the beach. lol

as I have said before, I never knew what those triangle pieces of fabric that came with my bikini are for.
I think topless is fine, there is nothing wrong with boobs, I think if children are bought up and told they should be covered and dont look, they will look. We are always on the beach here and my children pay no attention what so ever. I do take offence to the lack of control in the pubic hair dept! I have also seen a lady change her tampax on the beach, in FULL VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry, another soap box!

I don't think it's a coincidence that the UK has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the EU, and it also has the most repressed attitude to nudity. TV has a lot to do with this as, the only time you see nudity, or partial nudity, the people involved are just getting into bed with each other, just getting out of bed, or just getting it on. Therefore nudity gets inextricably linked to sex. As a naturist I was talking to another naturist who was a widower, his wife had died a few years before, and just before her death had had to received massive amounts of steroids, causing her weight to balloon. His early teen daughter had become obsessed with weight, and nothing the father could do would get her to realise she wasn't 'overweight and abnormal' He eventually persuaded daughter to go to the local club with him (wife and he had been members and daughter had been many times with them). Once she got there and saw the wide variation in the human female body she realised that she wasn't overweight, and accepted herself as she was.

Its not for us to say as far as i am concerned. One of my reasons for leaving uk was too many do gooders. I say going topless hurts nobody, if you dont like it go back to blackpool with all the blue rinsers and miserable sods. I for one go topless and feel i do no harm to anyone. If anything you blokes in your budgie smugglers should be banned lol. Im happily married and for one cannot think of anything worse to look at than overweight blokes in their speedos.
