I tend to stick to the village as well, not a big drinker but like to walk to the beach and have a drink or two or an ice cream or coffee. Miramar beach is so nice, I absolutely love it here... just need to get a grip of the language so I feel more relaxed when out walking in case I bump into neighbours... All my friends are spanish but they tend to talk more in Valencian to each other and spanish to me which does not really help!!! Great people though so I am going to keep trying.

maybe so but I dont live near benidorm and I came here to intregrate with the spanish not live in an english community

me too, the jijonenca one on the beach..... my husband lives there he adores ice cream
