It is a pity that you're not living in my area, because I am a Spanish Teacher (one to one lessons or small groups). The prices change a lot depending on the area you need the lessons, so if I told you what I charge, it would not be useful. I'm sure you will find a lot of teachers. Good luck

I know weve mentioned this before but I have finally just started the Michel Thomas CD lessons and actually I'm finding them quite good.
Well worth a though to get going

I'm living in Nueva Andalusia, can anyone recommend a Spanish teacher for me? I need to practice the speaking so an English group would be great.. Thank you, Sinead

I agree Mitzyboy! Thought I would never get the hang of the language, but feel I have made a lot of progress already

At least I know a bit more than asking for 2 coffees or 2 G+T's now!

Anyone had any experience of using "AA Essential Spanish" for the PC?
I picked a copy up in Gamezone while in the UK recently for 48p!
Didnt really want it but at that price it seemed rude not to!
The question!
Is it worth loading on the PC?

I learnt gallego from a man with only one leg when I was 7. He used to tell me how to plant potatoes, about the "santa compaña", the attacks of the wolves to the cattle in winter. I didn't understand then every word, but each afternoon he used to gave me a Cocacola as I listened to him.

I can talk a little now, but have trouble understanding speech. Can understand written. Very frustrating.
