Spanish Bug
#1
Is anyone else down with this current Spanish bug. My throat feels like I am swallowing razor blades, I ache all over and just generally feel even more listless than usual

I read somewhere that more people died in 6 months from the flu that died in the whole of the first WW.
This is how you tell the difference between a bad cold and flu.
Drop a £20 note on the floor. If someone has a cold they will pick it up. If they really have flu, they won't.
Mitz, try gently gargling with a solution of soluble aspirin.
It doesn't work for all sore throats but the doc recommended it once when I had a doozy, and it really helped.
