Spanish Bug

Is anyone else down with this current Spanish bug. My throat feels like I am swallowing razor blades, I ache all over and just generally feel even more listless than usual :(

250000 died in Britain alone, and over 7 million in India.

I read somewhere that more people died in 6 months from the flu that died in the whole of the first WW.

This is how you tell the difference between a bad cold and flu.

Drop a £20 note on the floor. If someone has a cold they will pick it up. If they really have flu, they won't.

Mitz, try gently gargling with a solution of soluble aspirin.

It doesn't work for all sore throats but the doc recommended it once when I had a doozy, and it really helped.

Nice big spoonfuls of honey will do the drink, if not lots of honey in lemon and lemonade, bring to the boil let it cool a little and then drink.

Well I didn't add that as I know Mitz is a TT:sneaky:

When making for my self I don't add spirit of any kind, believe it or not I am not a spirit drinker so I forgot that ingredient.

Wee dram be b*ggered.

A good belt with the juice and honey works much better I find, and I prefer Osbourne Brandy in it to whiskey
