What a sad angry little person you are. It was dreamers who first conquered the world but unfortunately they had to take ruffians and bullies to help them and that's why we're all in such a mess today. Give me the dreamers any day. When I stop dreaming I'll know I'm dead.

Go to Spain, live now or regret.

Well you have a small point in that we only have one life, and it's often over before we realise. But, you can always work towards a goal and try to give yourself a better chance. For example try to build up a "fighting fund" in your current job, learn Spanish (or indeed new job skills), do the research etc. At least air-fares are still relatively cheap, and you can get small doses of Spain until the time you're ready to make the move.

From: That, there, that's not my post count... nothing to see here, move along.

If you don't like it don't reply, all this does is stop newbies from posting, they look at posters attacking each other in this case for maybe being a dreamer and they think... bugger that, I'm going somewhere else.... and they do.
Its unreal, I thought we had two Mods on here, looks like there are a few more than that sometimes.

Nonsense I dreamt for 24 years about coming to live permanently in Spain and finally made it in 1992 and I've never looked back. I do speak fluent Spanish which I taught myself and my dream is to speak it flawlessly before I die.

After all, it's a major, life changing event. Quite different to moving around the corner to be nearer a good school !
It would depend on the starting point, for an individual. A new skill or trade might be needed, more money might need to be saved, early retirement postponed, the list goes on.
Bear in mind the old saying, "the best laid plan's of mice and men".

Wow. A lot of planning. It took me about a day to decide after coming back to England from holiday and about another two weeks to wait for my flight to bring me over. (Obviously the plane didn't take two weeks to get here, I had to wait two weeks until it left the airport). I'm rather impulsive at times.
