Yes, we are married. I believe that if you are not married you contact DWP in the normal way and inform them of both of your details so that the person who is under 65 (M) or 60 (F) can be included on the S1 as a dependant. Do not think that you have to have a civil partnership but just have co-habited for a length of time.
