to each person you want to quote, go to their post hit the little blue box on the right with the two squares in it, when you get to the last person to quote just hit the quote box and they should all come up, then you can give one reply or just reply to each under the quote..that sounds a bit nerdy, must be Meds time..

I hate the tax people, you have to do there work for them, they took me to court not long ago as it happens, I was hoping they would take it all the way.

They had me down as builder and I owed over 18k in Tax, they are still faffing about with it now,

I can see it, people being arrested and detained in Spain due to the incompetence in the first place, I understand many do a runner from Tax maybe, but they make so many mistakes aswell.

Sorry definitely not an April Fool's joke

As a Spaniard you should be aware that Experian has offices in Madrid and around the world, the Spanish use a system now very similar to the UK credit check system with several companies know providing credit search facilities to all of Spains financial services.

It is also a criminal offence, which will result in a knock at your door one day, and the knock may not be very friendly.

My post is probably not fully relative, but anyway...

I bought a computer part 'cooling fan' from Germany on the internet about 4 years ago, it cost me 165 euros and didn't pay any IVA on the purchase. About 1 year later I got a letter from hacienda asking why I had not declared the non payment of IVA on the purchase and why did I not then pay it to them 'hacienda'. I made 3 visits to hacienda to sort it out, tried to find the receipt but couldn't and they had the amount wrong saying it was 60 euros more than I had paid.

It happens that they where notified by Brussels 'or some part of' of the purchase from Germany not having had a VAT declaration on payment, they do this apparently and my payment was one of the ones the hacienda picked up on.

Anyway, so the 3 visits took up about an hour of the haciendas time and about 4 of mine and whatever time it took up actually getting the information to the hacienda and the haciendas time in processing the demand... all for 26 euros, which I have heard nothing else about after I presented a letter on my 3rd visit in answer to the haciendas demand, so they have eyes on you... probably a lot more of the time than you think.

Big brother is here

BTW rugbymatt, the suspense is killing me!
