That may have included the gestor fee, we had relatives who did all theirs through gestoria, only had to attend for residencia and padron, and these were all done by appointment, gestor did registration with SS and even got them thier SIP card, but yes, you do have to pay, but he knew all the people to speak to so they just went to the front of the queue.

It really helps to take a Gestor or someone who speaks Spanish along with you. If I had gone on my own I wouldn´t have understood a word and I would have had to queue up for at least 5 hours. I took my (Spanish) partner and we went to the front of the queue. I was only going for the NIE but we managed to get the Residencia at the same time. Result!
