I've heard good reports about Euro-Transporter if that helps!

Most of those quotes will be well out of date

I know a few people who've used Euro-Transporter recently.....and they were very happy with the service.
And if I remember correctly their prices were sub £2000....so that seems pretty competitive to me cos I paid a grand more than that two years ago.

Hi There this may be too late and I havent read everyone's osts in detail but getting your own van can be a hassle as with a removals company they sort out all the paper work etc. We used a firm in Essex called Old House and we paid just under £3000 and this included packing material and storage for a month. Insurance was extra but not bad. As it turned out we needed storage for 2 months and the charge was reasonable for the extra month. They delivered when they said they would and were efficient and helpful.
I got 3 quotes before I picked them and they weren't the cheapest but offered the service we most wanted. Essex is usually more expensive than Chester. I know they have branches other places so if it is not too late I will give you the details.

Can't fault Union-Jack removals did a fine job for us at a very reasonable rate.

We used Warm Horizons and couldn't fault them, they collected and delivered as specified. We did our own packing all 64 boxes I might add and had only one item damaged, which was probably my fault anyway. Would definately recomend them
