Your ignorance never ceases to confound me.
Check the news to see who is responsible for that disgusting shambles.

The empty seats are either ones sold to corporate sponsors, or the ones allocated to the various national teams etc. the ones sold to the general public are all filled. Having said that it's been the same in most games, however, because it's happening in the UK the media are having a great time with it.

Exactly in the eyes of the world it could cast the UK in a bad light where in actual fact it is the Olympic committee who are entirely responsible.

They have been reported as selling tickets on the black market in 50 different countries prior to the games and now they even have their own spivs in the Olympic Park itself flogging tickets.

Much as I want to see the games be a success, nothing has changed with the scumbags who run it and their own organisation still stinks to high heaven despite their claims to have cleaned their act up.

Stop it, confound you, you're making me blush.

I bet they didn't pay for the seats themselves then leave them empty, more than likely free handouts, that is stopping normal folk who really would like to watch, getting to.

I don't mind what sex you call me, either way, so long as you are happy, it's fine with me
