HMS St Albans is part way through her second consecutive Gulf deployment in 12 months and will return to the UK at the end of the year.

After so long away, she will spend much of her following time in the UK contributing to one of the Military Tasks and the crucial training of future Principal Warfare Officers, Navigators and Aircrew


She was in Hamburg only 2 weeks ago, so must be on emergency call out in Home waters now.

Well the R.N. have left and there is now a fishing boat and the brave G.C. playing Rsoles.
I am surprised they can afford the fuel.

They talk of co-sovereignty, how long do you think it will take the Gibraltarians to accept that after 300+ years of abuse by the Spanish. Abuse that has been more obvious in recent times, the closing of the frontier in 69, to the recent activities.
Will the Spanish ever learn that if you want to shag someone you woo them not abuse them.
Treat the Gibraltarians nicely for the next century or two and then try again.
Remember that the frontier was only opened because the requirement of no closed frontiers in Europe was part of Spains joining commitments.
Mind you what will happen in the near future when the Euro collapses is anybodies guess.

The Rock was still good a couple of years ago. Still very traditional with breakfast presented in silver tureens, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch. Bedrooms are very comfortable and you can watch all the shipping traffic to and from Morocco. can get a little noisy in some rooms if they are holding a Bar Mitzvah or something.
