Please help, we don´t know what to do.

I mentioned that destroying the card was a sort of 'overkill'. Not to have a go at you. I apologise if you saw it that way. Just trading opinions.
Here's a bit of my wacky philosophy... spurred on by a wonderful batch of Margarita I just made.... my favourite cocktail ever!

I think we are often responsible for:
Creating our own problems: Too many people IMHO feel they are victims. They are not. Tsunami sufferers are victims (for example.)
Creating our own luck: Someone takes a risk and is successful and the 'armchair (do nothing) brigade' say 'you were lucky'. Lottery winners are lucky ... but at least they bought the ticket!!!
It seems to me (IMHO) that this situation is MeMe creating a problem, because he/she is getting too involved. After all we have several pages of discussion on a public forum!!!

Between consenting couples doing something 'spicey' isn't wrong!! It's normal! And if you don't happen to do that - in the privacy of your home that's OK too!
OK in this case its embarrassing if others find out, but erasing cards, hiding cameras under wheels, going to the police etc etc etc .............. is spinning around worrying too much: It is creating a problem. IMHO. Look at the title of the thread. OTT. I opened the thread as I thought there was some sort of emergency.
Either they are close friends and so will be relieved that at least you (a friend) found it.... or they are not that close and would be happy to get the camera back, Ok with a bit of embarrassment... but not that huge!
I say give it back with a smile and say GOOD NEWS I found your camera....
........ and walk away. Then see if you have found a new friend.... or lost an unimportant one. That's THEIR decision, not yours MeMe. IMHO

This is a connived story deliberately posted on a forum to gain response.....Seen it before.....Surprised that you lot fell for it....

I reckon me me's reluctance is because JL was in the photos.

'Fell for it' - whats the big deal? We're having a bit of conversation... and a laugh
Us 'lot' enjoy a bit of banter and chat. Hasn't changed our lives an iota.
'Surprised' you don't see it as a bit of idle chat.....
Also you are criticising MeME as a 'trouble maker'... or some other description .... you must know him/her better than us.
AHA ...... Maybe its your camera
But don't worry yourself too much......... unless you are doing something 'bestial' on the photos!!!

I think life is a learning process, a never-ending one, and you can learn from discussions with other people, on even the most trivial, connived matters if need be.
I know I'm quoting a far-fetched example, but didn't a famous pop star take his computer into PC World to be fixed and found himself in prison a few months later after someone found obscene material on his hard drive?
His silver lining would have been if the technician had taken a hammer to the hard drive (memory card).

I made my first batch for the year...... as we had a bit of sun here in Brussels.... I prefer mine 'on the rocks' and I actually measure very strictly and have a few 'personal touches'... to make them my personal recipe.
I also (dangerously) make a big batch and put them in the freezer to 'stay fresh' and also they 'semi-freeze'. Shake the frozen bottle and pour into salt-rimmed glasses, and instead of a frozen Marg... you get one 'on the rocks' with little slivers of ice floating ... make a nice change.... and you have a stock as well. I made about 2.5 litres!! A little personal touch, I salt 2/3 of the rim - so non salt lovers can drink from the unsalted bit... and it till looks good. Its a science

BUT have to drink slow as mine are famous for their strength (that you don't taste/notice!)... some forum members will contest to that!!
Hmmm....... might have another... dangerous to have such a big stock!
Visiting friends ol' Blighty at the weekend and taking a litre over on special request!
OK diversion aside.........

Blimey, having a suspicious flood of visitors this year who might have heard something, by way of their appreciation I'm accumulating some real expensive booze.
When it's in fancy boxes, you don't feel inclined to open them. I slipped tonight and opened the cheapest one, a Jonny Walker black label, 12 years old.
My wife's got the real hump, she prefers Spanish whiskey, DYC, brewed in Majorca, and compared to the smooth stuff I've been imbibing, it tastes like shit.
She wouldn't know any difference, she's a Cockney.

I don't get where the problem is. The couple in question considered that its ok to do, ok to take photos of. Who are you to judge and censor them? Plus imagining how they should feel about it. Don't allow your fantasies to carry you too far in the realm of mental masturbation. They are not you. Just give their camera back and forget about it.
