Clicked on the link and got the same error message mentioned but if you look at the top right corner of that window you see the words "Home" and "Tree Map". I clicked on the word "Home" and up came the site, all in English. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks, just clicked on home and it opened up ok.

Unusual for Spain but it is exceptionally easy. Just go to the ticket office at the station and show your passport to prove that you are over 60. The person fills out a form takes your 5 euros and gives you your gold card. I showed my passport and then gave my residents certificate so that they could copy things onto their form.

Up until now we have only travelled on the train from our nearest station to Valencia and it is 25% off. Not sure if it is the same for all journeys but presume that it is.
