I just got back from shopping and bumped into my spanish neighbour and he told me a house nearby had shot all 5 of his dogs, including a pup. The worst thing I was on the computer and heard a dog yelping and even went out to check on mine just in case she hurt herself. Makes me feel sick now thinking I heard them getting killed, even though I didn't hear any shots....so maybe I didn't understand how he killed them....

There is a dog home up the road, why the bloody hell didn't they take them there if they didn't want them.

Anyway, my neigbour called the police and told them, so maybe they will put them against the wall and shoot whoever is responsible...

You know when you did your stint in samaritans.....did you get fired?

They live on a very steep mountain with a drive I wouldn't want to drive down in the wet, especially if any mud was on the road.....maybe they will get their karma and skid and go off the side of the moutain one day.....and I shall go to their aid, smoking a fag.....(I don't normally smoke) especially if there is a smell of petrol....and oooops drop it..

Sometimes people will destroy a dog rather than risk it going to a bad home. Not making excuses for the behaviour - just attempting to understand the mentality behind it.

Sorry to hear that.....unfortunately some nasty things happen over here with animals.

Fair enough. But 5 dogs and a german shepherd pup of about 6 months....I would have at least taken that.....My neighbour said they had no food either for days, he can see it from his land as he goes up there were the dogs were kept. So no food and they probably killed them because they bark too much. :curse: Makes me still feel sick to think I heard one of them yelping.....told my dog she is bloody lucky to have me and not to ever go near their house....and she was from the dog home badly treated as a 6 month old pup as well.......can't understand why people would have that many dogs to just kill them for being a nuisance.

I cant stop thinking about this thread. How can anyone do such cruel things to defenceless animals. I keep thinking the dogs were watching the others being shot, God only know how the last one to be shot was feeling? Its absolutely horrendous!!! What is this heartless bastard going to do with the dogs bodies? Through them in and field or bury them? I dont suppose he gives a dam really.
