(Shamelessly stolen from Twitter)

A mixed race woman, a guy called Mohamed and a Ginger all won gold. I love this country. :D

We are 11 gold behind China! I have Tweeted Aiden Burley, he needs to know how damaging Multiculturalism is to the UK!

Yeh, but China doesn't count, so we're now second behind US.

Still, they have their money so who cares right? Its like the old line, "I don't need friends, I have money!"

She didn't just win it - she walked all over them. If she had come last in the 800m she would still have won.

The money's on Dame Jess!

You mean like the gold medalists with a free meal ticket for life from now on ?

It's nice to believe they all did it for Queen and country in their moment of glory I suppose, but never mind fantastic performances by any standards anyway.

Free meal ticket for life? Are you kidding me? Have you EVER dedicated to a sport?

Agree, they have made huge sacrifices, but Ennis is said to have earnt more than a million this year alone with endorsements etc. I don't begrudge her a penny, but poor they ain't. She is set to earn millions.

No I'm not kidding you, a free meal ticket for life and all the perks, but good luck to them anyway.
They've worked hard for it just as we've helped pay for it.

I think the nation has been desperate for some heroes and heroines after all the scumbags who have dominated the news in recent years, so hopefully it will give everyone a lift,...well almost everyone anyway.

Oh and Å·es I have been dedicated to a sport, but no matter how I tried I eventually realised and accepted that I was never going to be good enough to make the big time, but in the meantime at least I got great enjoyment and satisfaction from it

I never said they were, the implication was that they were getting a free meal ticket for life.
