I think you'll find I praised British food on the foodie thread (and bemoaned the fact it has a bad rep abroad).
And I seem to remember praising the Brit organisation, plus the opening ceremony.

And Andy Murray is guaranteed at least a silver, having beaten Djokovic in the semi-final yesterday - I didn't see the match and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the result.:fingerscrossed:

And now he's through to the final of that as well, with Laura Robson, having won the semi-final against Germany. At least another silver to come there. He looks happier than I've ever seen him (although that wouldn't exactly be hard!).

Anyone remember an Italian newspaper doing a nasty article saying what a cock up the British were making of the arrangements? Also Hollande the French leader criticising the games and the british participants!!
