He did see where the roads would be closed but missed it all.
Currently in Cartagena, think he was surprised the harbour is big enough for large ships as the Queen Victoria is currently docked there.
Doing well with the end definately now in sight, Seems strange now to think we could actually climb in the car and visit for a drink, scary thought now, well not really lol

Currently parked up in Palomares, Almería province, could say he is now next door lol. only by road I might add 175kms or so away.
Think he has enjoyed having his lovely wife following, well going ahead to set up the tent etc. He had a day off yesterday so they could tour Cartagena.
Cant believe he only has three more days.

if you go to his FB page Tuesday he is hoping to show his last day live on there, he is climbing up from Balerma on the coast towards Dalías then Berja towards Turon then Albondón before coming through here, Albuñol onto La Rábita back on the coast.
Currently at Cabo de Gata

Trying to find our local Police lady as she has said she will escort him from Albuñol to La Rábita with her flashers on, but cant find her to chat re times, got people looking out for her, best laid plans etc.
DIL is coming over this afternoon to empty the truck, it is ful of beer and other stuff for us, then tomorrow she can put the bike in the back to bring him home, dont think he will be in a fit state to ride it back, and it is up hill lol
Think having her along all be it at the end of the day has mentally helped him hugely, though he says it is strange today and tomorrow to be rising places he knows.
Right, I will Sue post a photo on the FB page hopefully you will copy to here, but I do like the one of him crossing into Almería

Resting up at Almerimar, went to meet up, he looks well despite having a car in Almería actually rub the side of his leg when it swung in front of him. Alls well and he is looking forward to tomorrow
