Just got back from the hospital. They x-rayed the hand and nothing was broken...thank god! I have apparently damaged the tendon, which will take weeks to repair, but in the meantime I can take this b****y splint off, as long as I promise to rest the hand.
Oh yeah, I did the ironing with the hand splinted over the weekend, and with the house on the market, I can just imagine how much 'rest' the hand is going to have!
