I was doing some gardening, something went PING in my hand ,really bad pain. Went to casualty, they aren't sure whether anything broken or possibly torn tendon in hand. Small hospital, so no xray till Mon. Now hand is like this till then....really difficult typing with it like this! Doesn't stop me though!

Just got back from the hospital. They x-rayed the hand and nothing was broken...thank god! I have apparently damaged the tendon, which will take weeks to repair, but in the meantime I can take this b****y splint off, as long as I promise to rest the hand.
Oh yeah, I did the ironing with the hand splinted over the weekend, and with the house on the market, I can just imagine how much 'rest' the hand is going to have!
