No, it's not difficult.

There are many bikes (especially Harleys) that people bring from the UK, Germany, Holland, etc and they change them over to Spanish plates (matriculation).

I suggest going to a bike shop/dealer and asking them how much they would charge. Then go to a gestor and ask them how much they expect it would cost. The cost of matriculation depends on the make/model/year of the bike.

I believe torie has had bikes matriculated and can possibly give you more information.

dosnt seem that bad then! althoe why does evrything to do with cars or bikes seem to be complicated in spain?! we are also trying to set up a buisness importing ac cobra replicas from the uk and theese have to undergo all sorts of tests it does seem to be a pain! also the import tax! whats that all about arent we all part of the e.u! are harleys cheaper in england enough so to make importing it worthwhile?

Keep all the bills for the import tax as they and other countries in the EU are taking it illegally, there must be a test case soon. ;-)
