It should be noted that mosquitos are the biggest human-killers out there in the world. If going to a country where there is any risk of the problems Fred mentions, then you have to take anti malarials (with my caveat of LARIUM in mind), use a DEET repellant... And a mozzie net at night if no mozzie screens. I would personally take the vit B complex, as a back up... But in these countries - gotta do the whole hog.

It was national news a few years back in France, and headline news in Belgium, when Dengue was found in France.

Going back to wishful thinking, one has a good reason to drink G&T's (quinnine in the tonic) in these environments .... And any other ones! My excuse anyway to be seen at the 'local' with their goldfish bowl G&t's... those mozzies are in Europe now!

Cant be too careful!

Now we are getting somewhere Jon. The G&T medicine stands out as the one to be practised in Ayamonte. If we get to meet, maybe you will guide me to the "local pharmacy".
