Living in the Sun
#31
It was later than that, around 2004/5 I think. Actually I have it on tape somewhere as I recorded it to show our daughters the town where we would be living. I'll have to look for it now you've mentioned it and see if I can find the house she was trying to sell them.

Hi, just wanted to reply to this thread, I was on living in the sun about two weeks ago, we are the Perryman's who were looking for a large property to run a B & B for motorbikers. We are now living in La Llacuna and have a bar/cafe/shop with enough room to start a B & B when funds allow. I have to say that I was extremely fat on the TV and am glad to say that since I have lost a fair amount of fat, I thought my husband and I looked like mr and mrs blobby!!!!!!!! great fun to film

Hi mrs blobby, or should I say ex blobby. I see that programm, glad you and the other ex blobby's have found something that you can turn into your dream life.
You never know we might buy a bike and come down your way and stay the night in your B&B, then you will really see what a mrs blobby should look like.

Hi People,
Just a update, The programme with "th mackenzies opening a restaurant"
The guy who does all the cooking (Ian) not the pleb that is chris, wasnt paid any wages for months for working for that idiot that tried to become a 'head chef' in 2 weeks. His wife stella is a stuck up cow who wouldnt know hard work if it slapped her in the face (altough someone had obviolsy done it already with a shovel)
they are now in the process of taking him to court as he never even paid there national insurance so when my dad fell ill he had a massive bill to pay.
Some people are just born to take advantage of people and this im afraid is a perfect example of it, i assure if the BBc went back now we could all laugh at them AGAIN!

Those sound familiar. I'm sure I've seen them before, or something similar.
We play bullsh*t bingo, waiting for all the old familiar phrases 'risking it all' yada yada yada, plus the usual case of spurious deadline syndrome.
Hit with a shovel? I LOVE it. The expression I loved the most was 'cara de sapo con almorranas'
Face like a toad with piles.
That fits some people perfectly.
