Had a look at the iberian nature site and recognised a few of the evil looking critters on there.
We have quite a few snakes around here and I came across one of those 2 metre long poisonous Montpellier types last Summer.
Also quite a few of those ugly stinging giant centipede creatures,a bit frightening when you first come across them.
Interesting list of absolutely revolting cures relating to the black widow spider,worth a read.
One instance where the cure is definitely worse than the disease.
