It depends if you are a women or not. I find it horrific that a young bride has to submit herself to such humilliation, and some of them are minors. In the UK it would be classed as sexual assault. It is SICK, I think everyone has a right to dignity, there is no dignity in this.

Yes I am, my parents were Spanish, my bother was born in Spain and I was born in UK. I am proud of my Spanish roots and also of my UK upbringing. My husband is Spanish, and we both like only fools and horses, steak and ale pie, the English press and all the other Brit things that others openly condem (you know who you are) (estoy hablando de ti neno)I can give opinions from a first hand Spanish point of view and also an English one. Not like some "nativos reciclados" who often appear on this forum. I hate the Brits who have no sympathy for other Brits, who have fallen on hard times, here, and need to return home when they dont really want to co back. from what I understand of Pete, he deals with the Roma on a daily basis, and he has friends who are Rom, so he is judging them from a purely positive aspect, because that's his experience of the Roma............


You may well have had a bad experience with them, or know others who have so its your perspective that you are trying to put across, and sadly, when two people are trying to argue about something from their own experiences its hard to find some common ground.

I have personally had some wonderful experiences with the "pikey" community here in the UK and I have a "pikey" friend, but I am also aware that they would still cut my throat for a few quid.
