then I spray furniture polish on . I have always done this and once a year i add vinegar to some soapy warm water and go over it,this cleans the leather.I think it depends on what grade leather you have, my sisters leather suite is like a softish leather and would be no good to do what i do to mine.

I have had my leather suite now for about 4 years and its just the same as the day i bought it. I wipe over daily with a slightly damp cloth that has a little washing up liquid on and
then I spray furniture polish on . Washing up liquid actually leaves a sticky residue on your leather and attracts soiling ... you might find if you use dreft or something like that the suite will remain cleaner for longer

I was told a small bit of olive oil, Not sure how good it will be but apparently makes it very soft xxxx
