Yes I was meaning better as in speed rating. Some people might see a different size as "better" in their mind.

As for drilled disks Mitzy, just about all bikes have drilled / perforated disks so are they an exception to this rule?

Yes, something that crossed my mind also. Maybe its because most cars are not fitted with drilled discs as standard and therefore they assume them to be a modification.
