For a start, we have half a million politicians on high salaries and with life pensions from each post they have held. They claim generous expenses on top of that. One of our PP councillors here is only in her 30s but she is already clocking up nearly €50k a year while her neighbours are living on snared rabbits and edible thistles. It's quite obscene.

And its scenarios such as this that will finally make the people snap and that line will be crossed.......Sickles at the ready!

There are a lot of politicians in Spain, but I though the number was more like 80,000, not half a million. What is your source?

Its a lie being spread from Germany. Here is a good article

http://www.rankia.com/blog/nuevasreg...liticos-espana

It is a little like that lie spread by LSE that Greece had more Porsche owners that those earning £50k per year

It is Northern Europes way of ostrocising Southern Europe, a little bit like the way they did with the Jews all those years ago. Be careful
