No the floods are quite bad, a young soldier from Catterick died in a river, and loads of houses have been flooded.

Seems like there's been rain everywhere! The flooding in both Spain and the UK has been very bad.

I think my hay fever is caused by "cow parsley". Matt, is this the correct name? I used to get symptoms many years ago, and noticed a return this spring (with evidence of this plant on the verges). It's twice the size in Spain/Portugal, and I was told it can produce a nasty rash, if touched.

Cow parsley can be mistaken for a very nasty plant, hemlock, it is scarily similar.

I got a prescription off an old doctor once for stomch problems, and the Pharmacist laughed, saying it was the first time he had made it up, it had deadly nightshade in it
It worked though

Its the whole homeopathic theory.

One of the best heart drugs out, Digitalis, comes from Foxgloves, a plant that will kill you.

Alos Giant Hogweed is similar, and produces a very severe rash, and makes the area very light sensitive.

Area I used to live was just across the road from a river, and that exact area is now on Flood Watch. It's a very specific area, and has flooded recently.
