Hasta Luego, simple isn’t it, but having lived here for ages, I now say something like ah log oh, and my interpreter wife goes mad. So I’ve settled for ah low, and she goes ballistic. I quieten her down with Dell?

But, if I get angry, which isn’t often, I use Arschloch, and she still doesn’t know what it means, not even in Catalan.

Sly loaf is the way I used to say sliced loaf, when I was a kid in England, that is how it sounded to me. And I thought that prawns were called Browns... or should I say that I pronounced them as "browns".

Crisps, OH is pretty much fluent in English and pronounciation is better than mine :o but when trying to say crisps......................not a chance without a lot of concentration, always comes out as crips.

the kids are watching Te Disneigh chanel at the moment

it's odd, cos when the channel theme is played it's clearly sung by the American originators

but of course all the chat in between programmes is in Spanish, so the funny pronunciation is often immediately before or after the correct one

We always laugh at the way they pronounce the disney channel too.Little one says it really well.

And as you might have guessed she found Hannah montana again.

Oh name is Guy.I bet you can guess the wonderful selection of versions he gets called.Its so funny,sometimes the spanish person ends up laughing also cos they just cant say it.:lol:

it took me a while to get my head round the sos & vos, but my kids somehow instinctively knew what they were saying!
