As far as I know you could have a nasty problem getting your winnings if you are not resident in the lottery country.

Some years ago I purchased a Euromillions ticket in Portugal and won about €7
I was told in Spain by the lottery agents that I would have to return to Portugal to collect my winnings.

Would like to see him El Gordo Brown in the Bull ring (Madrid) with a couple of swords stuck in him. Though with his thick hide he probably wouldnt feel it.

Not a thing I was shocked to see a sign on the Bank that they were closed because they were watching the draw and even more shocked when everyone at worked kept stopping the machines to listen to it on the radio.
OH said it's a big tradition more than anything else.
