I am doing very well indeed on my diet (not).
I have done 2 days without any alcohol
I am walking as much as possible and even got the bike out. The problem is with me, if I dont notice an instant change then I just give up
Anyway, its Friday so tonight I can drink and eat what I want

Congrats to you as well Pam, two days without alcohol I take my cap off to you. I think we suffer from the same complaint "miracle over night syndrome)
I fear there is no known cure for this but we can live in hope. My hope is a boob reduction when I sell this house, instant over night weight loss. Can I recommend you take a tip out of Sam's book and buy an exercise mat, just the thought of lugging it back from the shops, up the stairs and placing on the floor is enough to cause the fittest amongst us to break out into a sweat.

Alcohol, yes that is where the problem lays, on arriving here a good few years ago I lost "LOADS" due to walking and change of diet, in past 18 months have changed jobs and work "just up the road" part time, the road is like a mountain so have to drive, hence no excercise, so pounds creep on, every week is a "must do better" one, ok, been there got the T Shirt etc.,sitting here writing this with "drink" in hand, oh well always tomorrow..... but it never comes .....
I will do this....hopefully !

I've just got back from a walking club meeting.
Our get-togethers are really just an excuse to eat and drink
but tonight I was really good, and only ate half a cake and a tiny biscuit.
Now I'm eating a banana and a satsuma for my supper (where's the "angelic" smilie?
)
Mind you, the exercise mat still hasn't been unfurled!

I haven't got Crispy's boob problem (quite the opposite!
) so I can't blame my increased weight on that.
I don't drink alcohol very much, nor regularly.
I haven't bought crisps, cakes or biscuits for ages (but do give in to temptation if I'm out somewhere)
I've reduced the amount of butter I use, and try to avoid eating bread and potatoes on the same day.
I think my downfall is cheese!
Because I don't eat meat, I tend to have cheese with most things
I am a classic "pear" shape, and everything now just seems to be sinking to the bottom end rather drastically!
Is there any hope???

You beat me to it!

I'm worried about my neck hurting too.
I seem to remember something from school, about picking a spot on the ceiling and concentrating on that??

I think it's supposed to aid a smooth action or something; but I'm not too sure, because I never really enjoyed PE at school!

I walked 7 km this morning, but it was all flat - and not exactly at "heart pumping" pace.
Still, I s'pose that's something...................isn't it??
The proper walk is next weekend; 40 km over the two days, and apparently there are a couple of horrendously steep climbs involved
Surely that's got to be good for the flab in unwanted places??
Anyone done anything good diet/exercise wise, this weekend?
