There are lots of amenities in the residential areas within a five minute's walk radius of me. The beaches a couple of miles out of town are never too busy.

What I really liked about Denia was that there were no "tourist shops" (well, except by the port!). I am soooooooooooooooooo sick of them *lol*

There were decent clothes and shoe shops and the back streets had some beautiful old buildings. We haven't ventured into any of the restaurants, but from the outside looking in, they looked very interesting and a far cry from the tourist traps of Calpe, Moraira and Javea.

I do try to avoid the shoe shops - my apartment has only so much space ...........
