Why would Huelva have any part in collecting taxes on Esuri when Ayamonte already collects them and the EUC is joint between the owners and Ayamonte Ayuntamiento. It could be that for the future Ayamonte has subcontracted the collection of its taxes to a joint body set up for the province as is done on the Costa Blanca where IBI is called Suma and is collected by a sub contractor for all the towns in the province.

Hmmm thats interesting - you have a huge and sumptous villa and your IBI is about half of what we paid! We had 2 bills and the total was about 450 for our appartment!

Heres what was taken

11-08 11-08 DIRECT DEBIT SERVICIO DE GESTION TRIBUTARIA -397,08 EUR
11-08 11-08 DIRECT DEBIT SERVICIO DE GESTION TRIBUTARIA -44,50 EUR

Something looks fishy here.... can anyone share their IBI bill as well - as this looks odd.

See you soon

Is that the first bill you have had ?
Maybe the second part is the true bill and the first is catchup for eight or nine months ?

Huelva is the provincial capital so it looks like they have sub-contracted a tax collecting shared service for the municipalities in the province, including Ayamonte.

Hi Jon, that bill is correct. The first amount is the Council Tax for the year, the second amount is for collection of rubbish. As you know we have a duplex like yours and that is what we paid this year. We also paid a similar amount last year. Regards Mike and Bryony

Very similar to ours - the first is the IBI and the second is for refuse collection (it's more detailed on my bank statement). Ours was 310 & 44.50 respectively.

We are there next week - for a long visit... so first drink on us! Just PM if you want to meet up! Mike+Bryony Im sure we will bump into each other as well in the car-park!

Thanks

I doesn't look like a scam as the SGTH looks like an official agency set up by Huelva to collect taxes in the area. However, whether this is the EUC demand is difficult to assess. The taxes that SGTH seem to be collecting from Ayamonte are: IBI URBANA; RUSTICA; IVTM; and IAE - I don't know if the EUC comes under one of those headings. Does anyone know?
The amount does look high - perhaps they assume that you are building the maximum m2 (sqm) allowed.

Hi:)

The EUC charges for all living in a Community will be collected through their Intercommunity Administration company , in my case by ADA. They already received the total amount for each Community payable by 02/12/09.

I thought L & G were the admin company for the EUC and they would be collecting this, then I understood the council would be responsible ? I thought ADA were nothing to do with the EUC. I hope whoever is collecting has a list of ALL individual property/plot owners and those still owned by Fadesa, other developers and the banks. Trust a policy is in place on how they will deal with the late and non-payers. I cannot see those who have not paid their IBI tax and community fees rushing to get their DD in place.

Regards to all

Hi YWC

Im not sure about this - I just received an email from ADA yesterday here is the comment. Looks like they are not involved in the EUC - see below

Regards
Jon

I heard that the EUC bills will be coming out soon and part of the property taxes.

Yes, I heard that as well. Apparently they are starting to send bills to the owners. I heard that the due date would be in December so hopefully you will be in Spain when the bills arrive. If not, you may go to the Tax Office (Oficina de Gestión Tributaria) near the icrecream shop and ask for the bills.

Hi Jon:)

This morning I made a phone call to the SGTH free number (900 352 165) asking for information about my EUC bill and the employee told me that all the owners who live in a community will be charged through their Intercommunity Administration , that in my case is ADA.

Re: Costa Esuri - Ayamonte - EUC

Like I said that is for the plot. The Council know we have a villa they issued the licence to build and then one to occupy but I am told it takes years for the tax side to catch up and then they hit you for all the back tax in one go. I would expect to pay about the same as you when they do or pperhaps a little bit more. Any news on the other bills yet anyone?

Hi!!!!

I´m new user. I´m a spanish lawyer and I have a village in Costa Esuri too. I´m sorry, my english doesn´t very good....

I want to write here because I have reading a lot of post and I think that you have a mistake.

There are three types the costs:

- commnuitary cost: you pay general cost the your development.
- IBI: it´s a council tax. It´s a property tax. It´s annual.
- maintain and maintenance´s Costa Esuri: it´s a dangerous!!!. The EUC has a lot illegals. For example, I don´t pay this cost. Why?. Because this cost must to pay when the Council have reception the building site (all or part of Costa Esuri). Nowadays, I can to say that the Council doesn´t reception anything. However, the EUC has a "Governing boards", that its President is the Ayamonte´s mayor and two members are Fadesa´s manager too and they have sent the bills. IT´S IMPORTANT THE DIFFERENCE BEETWEN IBI AND BILL´S EUC. BOTH HAVE A SAME FORM, AND BOTH HAVE A STAMP "SERVICIO DE GESTIÓN URBANÍSTICA".

My sincere opinion I DON´T PAY ANYTHING. I AM GOING APPEAL, AND IF I HAVE TO GO JUDMENT, I WILL BE.

I have a lot information about this organsim, and I don´t pay a "alleged" mayor´s enterprise.

I hope I am being clear enough in my English and my information!!.

Regards
