COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

Perhaps that is why they put it there. They cut a hole too big and wanted to fill it with something! LOL!
I have lots of light switches in my apartment not attached to anything. for example the shower room does not have a central ceiling light. You have to go into the room in the dead of night hoping you don't bump into anything before you can turn the light on by the sink.
I've ended up putting a plug in night light in the power socket so at least you are not feeling around in the dark. You never know what you may come across before you get to it. LOL!

You might find that the "spare" switches control some of the sockets in that room. When we stay at the RIU or the Barcelo I always spend a few happy moments working out which controls what and there always seems one left over. Then my wife plugs in the hot brush (they always do) it does not work and we have to work out which switch controls that one!

John.

I think you will find that there is a light socket in the shower room, concealed in the false ceiling, where the air conditioning unit (if fitted) is hidden. I only found this light fitting when we had the air con installed (the switch for it is directly outside the door). As there is nothing solid to fit a light to in the centre of the room (because of the false ceiling), I ran the wires to the side of the room opposite the shower, and fitted a wall light about a foot below the ceiling. The light fitting hides most of the wire which drops down from a corner I cut out of one of the tiles.
Best Regards

when you fit your light .you drill a hole where you want for the wires in the tile and anchor the light to the tile.some times the constructors drill the holes and poke the wires through and other times they do not.the ceiling although tiled will take the weight of a lot more than a light

As we are aproaching the Semana Santa with it´s processions and other religious celebrations, there are many other events organised as well. Mark these dates and places in your agenda if you are going to be in the area.
March 15: The BBc sport relief mile, a big event organised by the Oracle newspaper, Isla Canela and the Ayamonte council. All with the purpose of raising money for charity. Obviously there will be the run but around the commercial centre in the Isla Canela Marina there will be a big street festival with music, a flea market and many more things. Also the BBc will be coming to film for broadcasting it on TV!! kick off at 11:00.
March 22: The Opening party of the (in) famous beach bar La Sonrisa (Behind the Chipilandia funpark) with Live music starting at 22:00, and yes it is T-Bag performing!
March 24: 1st annual Martine Barthelemi memorial golf tournament at Isla Canela Golf in aid of Huelva Down Syndrome´s children Charity. This is all organised by Chad from the Outback Inn and it´s gonna be another big event with a huge party afterwards(+ buffet) at the Outback Inn, again with live music. you can find their contact details here: outbackinnspain dot com

For anyone driving down from Santander etc to Costa Esuri would thoroughly recommend a stop at Merida to see the Roman ruins. It is about 1 & 1/2 hours from Esuri.

Wow how interesting - looks better than the Forum in Rome....!!! I did a route plan on Micrtosoft Autoroute and it turns out that theres nothing in it time wise, a bit shorter route, but on slower roads. Nett result only 7 minutes over the 2300kms of my total journey!!
